Zion Lutheran Church Sanctuary, December 2025
Jesus Christ is the focal point of our theology. Where some churches tend to emphasize “the Sovereignty of God” or “how one should live” in their teachings, the Lutheran Church stresses the Gospel of Jesus Christ—crucified for our sins and risen from the dead—as being the key to understanding the Bible and applying it to our lives.

We were blessed to have Reverend Kyle Eddy installed as the Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church on August 7, 2022. He came to us directly from Concordia Lutheran Seminary in Edmonton, AB, along with his wife and four children.

We are women of the Zion Lutheran Church congregation and community who meet for bible study, planning events, and generally enjoying fellowship over tea or coffee and snacks.
We also raise funds and make donations to support local, national, and world missions, which are voted on by our members.

Zion Lutheran Church was established in Prince George in 1924. We have been a member of Lutheran Church Canada (LCC) since 1998. Prior to this, we were affiliated with The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Zion Lutheran Christian School is a K through Grade 7 Christian day school, and was established in 1999 for all parents, from any background, who wish their child to receive a quality education emphasizing Christian practices, teachings and beliefs. ZLCS is a small school making a BIG difference!

Vanderhoof Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church entered into an agreement for the Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church to also serve Vanderhoof Lutheran Church. This arrangement was formalized in September 2017, when the Dual Parish Agreement was signed.
