(John 14:1-13(v.1-3)) The Risen Lord Jesus alone is “the way and the truth and the life,” an we come “to the Father” only through Him (John 14:6). God is thus “glorified in the Son,” and those who believe in Him will do the works of Christ because He goes to the Father for us (John 14:12-14).

» March 22, 2026: Fifth Sunday in Lent
(John 11:1-53) Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Just as He called Lazarus from the tomb, Jesus calls us out of sin and death by condemning sin in His flesh and fulfilling the law for us. Through the Gospel, His life-giving Word and Spirit dwell in us, raising us now and promising eternal life.
» March 15, 2026: Fourth Sunday in Lent
(Ephesians 5:8-14) By His Word of the Gospel, Jesus calls us out of the darkness into His marvellous light. By our Baptism into Christ, we live in the eternal day of His resurrection, wherein He shines upon us. As often as we fall back into the darkness of sin, He calls us by the Gospel to “awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead”
» March 8, 2026: Third Sunday in Lent
God graciously provided water to His grumbling people from the rock that was struck. Likewise, Christ is struck on the cross and becomes the fount of living water flowing for the life of the world. Through this gift of grace, the Holy Spirit fills God’s people with new life, peace with God, and joyful worship in spirit and truth.

» February 22, 2026: First Sunday in Lent
(Matthew 4:1-11) Following His baptism, Jesus is lead into the wilderness, where He resists the devil’s temptations by trusting the Father’s word. In contrast to Adam’s disobedience, Jesus obediently bears the curse of sin in His suffering and hunger, taking upon Himself what brought death to all. Through His righteous obedience, Christ brings grace, justification, and life, covering our nakedness with His righteousness.
» February 15, 2026: Transfiguration of our Lord
(Matthew 17:1-9) On the mountain, Jesus reveals His divine glory, confirming the prophetic word and fulfilling the Law and the Prophets. The Father declares Him the beloved Son, whose shining majesty points to the cross where He seals the new covenant with His own blood. In Him we behold God’s gracious glory and share communion with Him in His body and blood.
» February 8, 2026: Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany
(Matthew 5:1-20) Jesus fulfills the Law perfectly, giving His own righteousness to His people so their lives shine with His light and flavour the world as salt. Through the preaching of Christ crucified, God grants His hidden wisdom and the Spirit’s power. This righteousness moves us to true fasting—freeing the oppressed, feeding the hungry, and caring for the poor.
» February 1, 2026: Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany
(Matthew 5:1-12) God redeems His people not by worldly strength but through the humility and weakness of Christ crucified. In Him we receive forgiveness, righteousness, and true wisdom, so that we learn to walk humbly with our God. By His cross the blessings of the kingdom are ours, even amid persecution, for we are God’s beloved children in Christ.

(Matthew 4:12-25) Jesus brings light to those in darkness through His preaching, miracles, and the calling of His first disciples. » January 18, 2026: Second Sunday after the Epiphany
(John1:29-42a) God reveals Jesus as the Saviour promised from the womb, the light for all nations whose glory is shown in His sacrificial cross. John points to Him as the Lamb of God who takes away the world’s sin, anointed by the spirit of His Baptism. Through our own Baptism, we share this same Spirit, His fellowship, and the sure hope that He will sustain us guiltless to the end.
» January 11, 2026: The Baptism of Our Lord
(Matthew 3:13-17; Isaiah 42:1-9) At His Baptism, Jesus reveals the Triune God as the Father speaks, the Spirit descends, and the Son stands with sinners in the Jordan. He takes our sin upon Himself to fulfill all righteousness and to redeem us through His death and resurrection. In our Baptism, we are united with Him, given His Spirit, and named the beloved children of the Father.
